Cornbread



This cornbread makes a perfect addition to Thanksgiving Stuffing!

Ingredients

  1. 1 1/4 cup ap flour

  2. 3/4 cup cornmeal

  3. 4 teaspoon baking powder

  4. 1/2 cup sugar

  5. 1 teaspoon salt

  6. 1 egg

  7. 1 cup milk

  8. 2 tablespoon melted butter

  9. 1 teaspoon vanilla

Directions

  1. Mix all dry ingredients in large bowl.

    If you sift your dry ingredients, it will come out smoother

  2. Mix all liquid ingredients in smaller bowl.

  3. Pour liquid into dry and mix until just combined.

  4. Pour  into greased 9 x 11 dish

  5. Cook at 350 degrees for about 30 min.

  6. Check for done before removing from oven.

    Use a fork to poke in the center, if it comes out clean, it is done.
